While I dislike the practice of internet censorship, it is not something that very often affects me personally. If the sites are used for illegal purposes that provide the offenders with profits from their activities, I would prefer that the sites be shut down and the owners be criminally charged instead of relying on censorship. Besides, it does not take a computer specialist to bypass the censorship blocks using a few methods including anonymous proxies.
